Endless fair weather and soft light, often hazy due to the settling evening mists on the peaks of the central volcanoes, behind which the sun sets.

Many leathery Brits.

Not much time to go adventuring due to it being on a family holiday, so a few beach photos and an attempt to capture the mood of the environment and place were all that I could manage. I think it’s a place to do on-camera flash photography- though the laws might be prohibit it. If I was alone I’d have chanced it. Martin Parr would have had a field day, no doubt.

Favourites include the penguins with a slow shutter speed- their form is so pleasing and they are keen to get close to the glass of the enclosure.

You’ll also see my dad clutching his camera in a few here- many of the shorts were taken during a photowalk together one evening.
